Welcome to Brighton Physio Clinic.
We are a multi-disciplinary team of professionals with different specialities and points of interest. Our aim is to treat each patient holistically and as an individual. We consider each patient as a whole, including both mind and body. Which is at the very heart of our practice.
This is reflected in the clinics unique setting, just a short walk from Brighton train station, the clinic is set in a wellbeing centre and beautiful coffee shop called Wellbean. What makes this centre so unique is the stunning “living wall” which grows over the front of the building, which improves the air quality and environment around the clinic. Being located in a building with a coffee shop is great, as this offers an opportunity for our patients to not only be nurtured from our treatments, but also be nourished by our cafe.
As a team, we are passionate about working together with our fellow colleagues to achieve our ultimate aim: to identify the cause of the problem, not just treat our patients symptoms. Which helps us ensure that our patients leave us pain free, healthy and happy.
By doing this, we will put you first and do what we can to help you to the fullest extent possible. This includes honest free advice if you have anything you are not sure about. We will not see you more than is necessary and never hesitate to refer you on to another specialist if we think they can help you recover quicker or are more appropriate to help you.
The team actively encourage and guide patients to help manage their own symptoms by advising on exercises, lifestyle and diet. This advice is bespoke to our patient’s needs and will aim to be set at the right level for them, ensuring our patients self management is not only achievable but also rewarding.
A message to all of our clients.
MORE ABOUT US
Most people think of osteopaths as “back specialists”, but they actually treat the whole body and can improve everything from ankle injuries to neck pain and migraines. Osteopaths practice holistically and will often work on more than one part of the body within a session.
Some people often think osteopaths are like a physiotherapist and a chiropractor rolled into one. Although some of the techniques are similar, there are differences in our training and expertise which mean that one treatment may be more suitable than another for a particular problem or diagnosis.
At Brighton Physio Clinic, our approach to health care is very different, we believe that good health is more than just the absence of disease, it is about total overall wellbeing.
Osteopathy is not just about treating symptoms. Osteopaths are trained to seek out and treat the underlying cause of the pain and can thus also help to prevent future recurrences.
A lot of clinicians treat acute injuries well, the key is to not only fully rehabilitate but to strengthen the area to stop it becoming a recurring injury or ‘weak’ area in the future.
